Exciting upbeat classes that teach more than the foundations of Jazz and Tap technique. Your child will build upon the basic steps they have already learned throughout the Petites programs and practice putting their knowledge into small combinations that encourage growth, persistence and celebration. There will be a focus on working as a group when creating formations and spacing on the stage which will enhance the performance of their Jazz and Tap routines at the end of year Showcase.

Get ready to roll, balance, and flip in our fun and exciting Acro class! Designed especially for beginners, this class will help young dancers build strength, flexibility, and coordination in a safe and supportive environment. Through playful exercises and skill progressions, dancers will learn the basics of acrobatics, including forward rolls, bridges, handstands, and more. Acro is a great way to boost confidence, improve body control, and add impressive new moves to their dancing!

Universal Dance Company offers the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus which is one of the largest dance organisations in the world with now over 80 countries offering this syllabus. RAD exam classes are a prerequisite for performance group students, however all students are welcome and encouraged to participate. In these early grades the students will be learning the fundamental elements to progress with their Ballet technique. Once a year the students will take their annual Ballet exam which will be graded by an external examiner. Upon completion of their exam they can then progress to the next grade.

Please note: Mini Ballet is underpinned by the Primary RAD syllabus. This is a beautiful transition from our Petites classes into the world of Ballet and prepares students for the RAD Ballet Grades.
